FROM MELBOURNE
Train
If you’re planning on getting public transport from Melbourne, the train line will be your best bet. Southern Cross Station has frequent trains running to Ballarat which only take an hour and a half.
Bus
For a day trip from Melbourne, Melbourne on the Move will have buses to get you to Ballarat and back on event day. Your ticket guarantees a return seat and takes the stress out of trying to home at the end of the night.
Driving
If you’re keen on the #roadtrip with your mates or want to make a weekend out of it, Ballarat is only an hour and a half drive from Melbourne! Bus
As above, Melbourne on the Move is running buses from regional Victoria to take you straight to Spilt Milk gates and back on the day. Your ticket guarantees a return seat and takes the stress out of trying to get home at the end of the night.
Train
V/Line has train lines running between most regional towns in Victoria making it simple for you to get to Ballarat and back. Note: The last train leaves from Ballarat at 9:30pm, so you might need to think about an alternative route home if you’re keen to catch the last Spilt Milk acts.
Drive
If you’ve got a designated driver and want a good old fashioned road trip, then the road to Ballarat is an easy drive. There will be parking on site with Single Day Parking Passes on sale through Moshtix from 8am Friday 14 July.
